Developing a Biblical World View

Picture
"The world we live in is getting crazy!" I used to hear the "old people" say this years ago. Now that I am on the edge of being old (no comments from the peanut galley please! LOL!) I have been watching our world not getting crazy, but getting prophetic! I am amazed with the comments on social media from Christians in regards to events taking place all over the globe, and there is quite a lot, with no mention of any possible connection to Biblical prophecies relating to the end times. I notice that these events tend to offend and anger these Christian people. I understand how they would offend and anger people who are not Christians (born again) but why do they negatively effect believers?
My guess would be that they do not see our times through a Biblical world view (and are not familiar with Psalm 119:165). To see our current world through a Biblical world view you would have to have some Bible knowledge. Maybe starting with Matthew 24 and Jesus' signs to watch for letting us know that we are close. Having a basic understanding of the book of Revelation and its ties to the Old Testament, particularly the books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, .....well, ....really all the Old Testament books of the prophets, would help.  There are 17 books of the Prophets. They contain important and accurate information that relates to and describes current events taking place in our world today!  We are in very Biblical and exciting times, if you are a born again believer! If you are not a believer, then unfortunately, these are not exciting times and they will get much, much worse!
Resurrection Day (Easter) is Sunday, April 5th. For unbelievers, it is an opportunity to see just how much Jesus loves you by dying for your sins, and raising from the dead victorious over death. For believers, it is an opportunity to focus on Philippians 3:10, "That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection..."  Resurrection Day is not about a one time event, but an every day lifetime experience!
Did you know that Jesus spent forty days with His closest disciples immediately following His resurrection? Those forty days incredibly impacted those believers! Those believers incredibly impacted the world! If you have an interest in what happened during those forty days we have a book that will be a blessing to you. Just use our Contact page and we will send you information how you can get this resource.

If you would like to know more about having a Biblical world view and the times that we live in join us on Sundays at 10:00 Am.

May the Lord bless you,
